1. What information does SingleAnons.com collect?
SingleAnons.com is an online dating service where members can search for other members and communicate with them.
1.1. To join SingleAnons.com, you will have to complete our online registration form, where we ask you to provide us with information about you such as:
– your name and nickname
– your email address
– your gender
– the gender of your preferred matches
– your date of birth
– your location details
– your profile photo
You also have the opportunity to provide other details about yourself, but these are optional. Because you control your user profile, these details are available to you at any time by accessing ‘My profile’ page and ‘Email settings’ page, which gives you the chance to correct or update your information at any time, except for your gender and date of birth.
1.2. This is the list of additional data we can have on you:
– answers to non-mandatory profile questions
– photo, video, and audio files that you upload to the site or add to your favourites
– your banners
– your wall posts, both on your own wall, and on the walls of other members
– your comments to wall posts, uploads, news articles, etc.
– events and companion ads you have created
– IDs of objects you have liked (uploads, wall posts, etc.)
– rates you have given other members
– your answers to polls
– every message that you send on the site (in the mailbox, messenger, etc.)

1.3. Does SingleAnons.com collect my personal data if I am not a member and just visit the site?
No. We do not collect any personal data about visitors to our site. If you do visit us without becoming a member, we will place session ID cookies on your computer.
1.4. What does SingleAnons.com collect about me if I use the mobile app?
SingleAnons.com offers you the opportunity to stay in touch with the contacts you’ve made no matter where you are.
We may ask you to allow us access to your location information including latitude and longitude. This information lets you search for other members in a certain radius from your current location. You can disable the permission by going to your phone Settings > Location > Disable tracking or similar.
1.5. What information is collected from me if I pay for your services or donate?
We do not collect any financial information nor your chosen payment method. Please note that while we do not store any credit card or other payment card details, our payment service providers may do so.
1.6. Can SingleAnons.com collect information about me from other sites I use, such as Facebook?
If you have registered on our website or app via a social network (such as Facebook), we will connect your profile in your service with your profile on the social network website for your convenience, to let you use this sign on option further. The information that we request includes basic details such as your name, gender, date of birth, email address. However, we may only collect the information that you have made publicly available on your social network profile, and we will ask you to answer the rest of the mandatory profile questions separately in the case we have not been able to collect it from your social network profile. In order to revoke access, please visit the application settings on your social network profile and follow the instructions to remove the access permissions.
2. How do you use the information and who do you share it with?
2.1. Why does SingleAnons.com have to collect all this information?
The SingleAnons.com online dating service is designed to make it easy for you to find, connect and interact with other members by posting information about yourself and seeing what other people have shared about themselves. All the information that we collect about you is required for our service to properly perform its functions of connecting you with other individuals.
2.2. What should I consider before disclosing personal information about myself?
When using our service, you should assume that anything you post or submit will be publicly viewable and accessible. We recommend and encourage you to think carefully about the information you disclose about yourself. Please be careful about posting sensitive details about yourself on your profile such as your religious denomination and health details. Please remember that photos or video files that you post on SingleAnons.com may reveal these kinds of sensitive personal data. Where you do upload and choose to tell us sensitive data about yourself, you are explicitly consenting to our processing your information and making this public to other users. When you post information about yourself or use the messaging services, the amount of personal data you share is at your own risk.

3.1. For how long do you store my personal information?
At the moment, your profile and any files you have uploaded (photos, videos, audio files) are stored indefinitely, unless you request otherwise.
3.2. How can I delete my profile and personal information?
You have two ways to delete your profile and personal information from our site. The first is to send your request using the Contact us form on the site, or by emailing customerservice@singleanons.com. We will delete your profile within 2 business days, without the option to restore it.
The second is to delete your profile yourself. You can delete your profile by going to Settings > Delete account > and clicking ‘Delete profile permanently’. Your profile and personal details will be immediately deleted from the site, without the option to restore them.
After your profile is deleted, we will keep information such as your name, nickname and email address for anti-fraud and anti-spam purposes and as a reference, to prevent any abuse or misuse of our services. Your profile will not be visible anywhere on the site.
Warning: Even after you remove information from your profile or delete your account, copies of that information may still be viewable and/or accessed on the Internet to the extent such information has been previously shared with others, or copied or stored by other users or to the extent such information has been shared with search engines. We cannot control this, nor do we accept any liability for this. If you have given third party applications or websites access to your personal data they may retain such information to the extent permitted under their terms of service or privacy policies.
Removed and deleted information may persist in backup copies for up to 30 days to enable restoration, but will not be available to others in the meantime.
3.3. How do you protect the information you store about me?
SingleAnons.com has implemented reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect and prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control, including your personal data. SingleAnons.com uses reasonable security measures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal data such as secured servers using firewalls.
While we take reasonable precautions against possible security breaches of our website, member database and records, no website or Internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur. We urge you to take steps to keep your personal data safe (including your password) and to log out of your account after use.
We cannot guarantee the security of your personal data while it is being transmitted to our site and any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your personal data we have procedures and security features in place to try to prevent unauthorized access.
We shall inform you within 72 hours in case there has been a data breach, by sending an email to your registration email address and by posting the announcement on our site’s news page.
3.4. What is my opt-out capability?
If you decide to opt-out, we will no longer be able to offer you the services of SingleAnons.com.
